These are the family members who attended the temple with us!

Well, for those who have not heard, our family was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on June 28, 2008! We were just two days past our 9 year wedding anniversary. What an absolutely amazing experience it was. Words cannot express the emotion, elation and excitement that I felt. I don't imagine I'll ever experience a better day.
When Bryan and I got married, I vowed I'd never let the Church come between us. I didn't want it to be an issue and have never pressured him about it. Although, I did make it clear how I felt, what was important to me and what I wanted for our girls as far as their up-bringing. I knew I couldn't tell my girls the temple was important, but had to lead by example. For this reason I took my own endowments out 6 years ago (July 27, 2002). My deepest desire has always been for our family to become an eteranl one (I guess I need a new deepest desire!). In March, Bryan put me into shock when he told me he was ready to go back to the temple. He had an experience with our sweet little Addison that made a light bulb go off in his head. He thought about it for a week or so before he let me know of his feelings. I was speechless for a few moments and wondered if it was a joke. By the end of April, Bryan had his temple recommend and we had our date set.
The day we were sealed was an amazing day. The girls didn't want to take off their white dresses their Grandma Wheeler made for them. They had a great experience in the Youth Center and loved the chance to be in the temple. Emian made a hillarious comment that I will not fully express here, but had to do with everyones tears and crying having to do with some temple attire. I still chuckle when I think about it! They were a little nervous having every eye on them when they walked in the room, but it was an overall wonderful experience! The Spirit was so strong and I didn't want to lose the amazing feeling that filled me.
Temples are such an amazing blessing. I have a testimony of the work done there. I love to enter and leave the world behind feeling peace and happiness the moment I walk into the temple.
