Christmas 2009

Lining up to come down on Christmas morning, Addison is still trying to wake up I guess!

We had a great Christmas season this year! We did our traditional countdown to Christmas where the girls cut an envelope from our envelope chain. Some of the activities were new nutcrackers (these seem to be the favorite every year), a new Christmas book, family parties, Christmas lights, seeing A Christmas Carol at the Hale Center Theater, new jammies, simple coloring pages, and well, you get the picture! This build up is almost as exciting to them as Christmas Day.

Addison opening her DS

Addison is maturing too fast. She doesn't ask for toys anymore. Her deepest desire this year was a Nintendo DS. Santa delivered. She got the DS, a case and some new games. She was thrilled with her gifts.

Emian wanted and American Girl Doll Bitty Baby with a diaper bag and a bouncy seat. I told her she had to choose either the bouncy seat or the diaper bag. She opted for the bouncy seat. Santa surprised her with both! Emian was quite ecstatic with the surprise!

I love this time of year where family feels so close and we can celebrate our Savior!
Merry Christmas!
