We have this little place we like to call "Terabithia". We happened upon it during a family hike and it reminded us of Terabithia in the movie. We like to think it is our own secret place although we know otherwise. It is a wide open area after a 15 minute hike up a little nearby and well used canyon. It comes at a fork in the trail and we have never made it past this point. After discovering it, Terabithia has become the destination of the hike. We may never know what comes after Terabithia.

The rope swing is always there, although some thoughtful creature has replaced it more than once. The girls love taking turns swinging on the magical rope swing.

In January we snowshoed to Terabithia for some time on the swing as well as some sledding without the sleds. We always have a good family day when we go to Terabithia!

We love our magical little spot up our "secret" little canyon. No one knows about Terabithia but us!
