Addison and Emian were thrilled with April Fool's Day. It happened to land on the same day that we had finished moving everything out for the floors to be done on the next day. Bryan and I didn't know, at first, that the girls planned and set up an April Fool's Pajama Party.
Addison made a sign and posted it at our new doorway to the dining room. We were informed we needed to go get our pj's on.
They pulled out all of their personal blankets and used the pile of sheets we had used to cover the furniture during the remodel and covered the floor. They also brought out pillows and assigned everyone a spot.
The first thing they had planned was balloon volleyball. Addison and dad against mom and Emian. (Emian had to go it alone for a quick pic!) After this we each had to share a talent. I believe they had more planned, but bedtime came first. In the days following, they loved having an empty, long room to bounce their balls and twirl in!
