Oh boy, they keep growing and I can't do anything about it.
Addison was very ready to get back to school this year. She started second grade with Mrs. Crisp on August 24. All summer Addison talked about a certain teacher she just "had to get" and, of course, she did not get this teacher while all of her friends did. She held back the tears and put on a brave face at registration when we learned this information. But as we went through registration we were informed more than once that Mrs. Crisp was an absolutely fantastic teacher and we would be so happy with her. Because Addison is my oldest, I don't know who "the teacher" to get is and was relieved to find out that Mrs. Crisp was going to be great too! Addison loves second grade and, thankfully, Mrs. Crisp!
We try to walk to school every morning and these are a few of our walking buddies.
Emian was so excited to start pre-school with Miss Wendy. She didn't start until September 8.
She wants everyday to be a school day (so do I!). She is already asking how many days until kindergarten. I'm happy to know she is looking forward to leaving my side!
Woo hoo for school!
