Because I love you!

Two nights ago the bedtime routine went as usual. Bryan and I enjoyed an hour or two together and then we headed to bed. I rolled toward my night stand and there was a small sheet of paper folded in half with a heart cut out of the side and a Minnie Mouse stamp on the front. I opened it up to read "Becus I love you mamy". That was it. A simple note from Addison to me. Tears came to my eyes and I climbed the ladder to her bed, kissed her on the cheek and rested my cheek to hers for a few quiet moments. It is little things like this that make motherhood so rewarding.
