My little Emian is the master of entertaining herself. One busy day in March I was obviously not paying a whole lot of attention to her and found this cute little scene. She had spread out a blanket, brought a pillow, many friends and toys and set up camp on the driveway. She sat there and played quietly on her own as I did my thing around the house. I often find her singing to herself, playing with her beloved animals and babies, and doing many other things to play quietly. She loves to be alone, doing her own thing and marches to her own tune!

I wish all my kids could be that way. Jacob is and Lily is semi there but Leif needs lots of attention!
That picture reminds me of myself when I was her age. That is totally how I was. Never needed anyone to play with. So sweet.
