Today is day 12! The most exciting thing that happened today was the ovens! He installed the ovens, put on the handles to all the cupboard doors that are here (the others are coming back tomorrow), toe kicks and other minor finish work! Having the ovens in really feels like it is almost here! (Unfortunately we have to wait for the electrician to hard wire them before we can use them.) The door handles/drawer pulls are solid stainless steel and those babies are heavy! Tomorrow we get new doors, one that goes into the garage and the other from the basement to the backyard. I will be thrilled to have this done! The door going out to the garage is so temperamental and tough to open and close, especially in the cold weather. The door to the backyard is basically an inside door and offers no security and lets all the cold/hot air in depending on the season. Tomorrow will be good! Thursday is granite, Friday is sink and back splash, and the final day will be Monday (then the floor guys come back to finish all the wood floors). We are almost there!
I am so excited about these ovens. The top is a microwave and a convection oven. The bottom is also convection!
