I feel like I need to start day 7's post with an apology. I feel bad that I was so bent out of shape with the floor guys yesterday. I know they do great work, that is why we chose them. There were so many things that kept piling up, both kitchen and non-kitchen related, that I was at the end of the rope yesterday. That being said, day 7 went pretty well. Most of our beautiful floor is in. They have a little bit more to finish up tomorrow. They have done an absolutely great job. I keep finding myself standing in the middle of the room just looking at it. Now our kitchen is starting to look more like something instead of an empty abyss! Doug was only able to put the sheet rock up around our new doorway. It wasn't so easy working together after all. I am very excited about the progress that was made today. Tomorrow all the base cabinets will be installed! Then it will really start to look like a kitchen again!
