New Paint

We've finally got a color on the walls! This weekend we spent painting the kitchen walls and ceiling. After two coats on the ceiling and a primer on the walls, we started the putting the paint on the walls. The further along we went Bryan kept talking about he loved the color while I was holding back tears. It just was NOT right. I didn't like it at all. It was not at all like the 8 oz. sample we put up and I was very discouraged. We got most of the first coat on and I quit, picked up the paint lid and headed to Home Depot. Turns out they seem to have some glitches with their sample sizes. The paint department was stumped as to how the sample came out to the color it was. So the most amazing paint girl ever went above and beyond and tweaked a new gallon for over an hour (only having a tiny bit of sample color to work with) until she got it almost spot on. I guess you can't get more custom than that! Thankfully, I absolutely love what we've ended up with! The pictures don't do the color justice. The pictures look a lot more brown, especially the bottom one, when the color is actually some kind of green.
