I didn't get pictures of day 9 before the sun went down and we don't have any power in the kitchen. Yesterday was a patching day. He patched all the areas needing patching (although I wish he would've done the area behind where the fridge will go). Today he sanded those patched areas and put up the upper cabinets. You'll notice that the pictures look a bit incomplete. I sent 15 or 16 doors and drawer fronts back to get another coat of paint. Yesterday as I was staring at them I realized that you could still see the wood under the paint on some of them. It was faint, but they looked a little grey in areas. So they agreed to put more paint on them. So even with the upper cabinets in it still looks quite unfinished today! Appliances come on Monday! I don't know if they will be going in on Monday, but I am excited to see them sitting in my garage! From my inexperienced point of view, I think all that remains is the tiling, sink and faucet install, install of counter tops and of course stain and sanding of the floor. Bryan and I will paint tomorrow. It is really starting to take shape!
