Kitchen Remodel - Day 17

MY KITCHEN IS DONE! I am so excited to have the kitchen work finished. I just keep standing and staring and opening doors and drawers. My poor little fridge is sitting out in the garage, now a lone appliance. The living room furniture is now keeping it company out there. We have to get the floors finished so it will be 100% complete and the fridge will then take it's new home. Work on the floors starts at 8:30 Thursday morning (Bryan is talking to the hardwood floor guy at this moment). They should be finished Tuesday, dry by Wednesday! My great friend will be making roman shades for the windows. The paint color came from the material I've picked to do the shades, so it will be nice to see them together. I couldn't be happier with the overall result. It's pretty much how I've pictured for so many years now. I'm off to try out the dishwasher! Well, here is the finished result:
